The Connecticut Grounds Keeper's Association and the CICA will be holding their annual CT
Turf & Landscape Conference. Admission to the Trade Show is free. There is a fee to attend
the educational seminars. "Mark the Shark" will Emcee. Register for door prizes. This will be
held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT, on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2007, from
8am-5pm.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in our past events, responded to our
surveys, and contributed to the growth of DreamScape Designs, LLC. We have had fun
with our classes and were also able to learn from each other. Thanks again for your
involvement and enthusiasm. I look forward to the year ahead. Your support and
patronage is greatly appreciated!

We will be featued on "Taking Care of Business" on Nutmeg TV, channel 5, on July 3rd and
17th, at 8:30 PM. On this program, host Karen Smith interviews small business owners in the
area. Watch and find out more about our company first hand.

"Outdoor Decorating" classes will begin on 2/6 thru 3/27, through the New Britain Adult
Education Program. This 6 week course will be held at New Britain High School, on Tuesday
nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The course consists of lecture, discussions, illustrations,
decorating ideas, a demonstration, and a hands-on project you can take home. Topics include
the basics of planting, designing, color, proportion, placement, maintenance, and trouble shooting
of your gardening issues. If interested in attending, contact Alicia at 860-229-6106 prior to
the start of classes.

"Decorating With Paint" classes will begin on 2/7 thru 3/14 through the New Britain Adult
Education Program. This 5 week course at New Britain High School, will be on Wednesday
nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The course consists of lecture, slides, and demonstrations. 3
of the 6 classes will be hands-on. We will cover the basics of color, design, application, and

Rose Weekend is back. The CT Ground Keepers Assoc. will again be sponsoring the "Plants
for Kids" booth at Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT. Besides enjoying the blooming rose gardens
on the premesis, children will be coached on planting their own flowers and can take them home.
The event will be held from 10AM -4PM on June 24, 2007. Come on by!

Stop by and see us at the Woman's Expo on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Cedar Mountain Stone &
Mulch booth, from 12:30 -2PM. Lots of information and entertaining events to experience!
